Printed Walls
Surface
Your Surface must be relatively flat and vertical with no significant protrusions or holes, texture and bricks are acceptable
The surface should be preferably a clear white glossy or satin non absorbing paint.
Printing on dark-, absorbing surfaces or glass will require extra preparations.
Surfaces can be plaster, plaster boards, tiles, glass, wood, bricks, metal and plastic.
Surrounding
If the floor is not even or level we will install a frame for the printer.
Minimum ceiling height is 2m for our printer.
Stair cases are possible with special preparations and the print size is limited.
Gravel or lose ground are not suitable and special preparations will have to be made.
When printing outside the environmental conditions must be acceptable ( no rain or excessive sunlight),
in most cases we work with a tent outside.

Image quality
Everything depends on the source image quality, the print size and location.
A picture might look good on your phone but not on a 2 x 2 m print on a wall.
Digital images cannot be enlarged indefinitely or pixilation will become obvious.
The enlargement factor depends on :
-
Image Quality (sharpness)
-
Image Size ( PPI or DPI )
-
Image Resolution (mega-pixels)
-
and the viewing distance to the print
As a rule of thumb, digital images can be enlarged 100% before the loss of quality becomes obvious.
Then again if the viewing distance is far you might be able to enlarge more.
Large original images with a high DPI or PPI will give you the highest amount of freedom to scale up.

Print size
In theory there are no limits to the print size as parts of the image can be stitched together.
A typical interior decoration print ranges from 50x120cm to 250x400cm.
But again , there are very few limitations , it all depends on your imagination, source image and the location.
Print limits
Due to the construction of the printer we cannot print closer than 10cm from all sides ( floor, ceiling and connected surfaces)
If you do however want a full size print ( edge to edge ) we provide canvas and board solutions to achieve this .
The minimum ceiling height is 2 m.
